Remedial Massage.

Assessment-led treatment built around what is actually causing the pain.

What It Involves

Every remedial session starts with a short assessment of posture, movement and problem areas, so the treatment is built around what is actually causing the pain, not just where it is felt. From there, a combination of techniques is used, which might include trigger point work, stretching and deep tissue massage, depending on what your body needs.

Benefits

  • Targets the cause: treats the underlying issue rather than just the sore spot.
  • Tailored technique: combines whichever methods suit your body and condition.
  • Take-home exercises: often paired with stretches to help recovery between sessions.
  • Health fund and WorkCover: registered provider with most major health funds and WorkCover.
  • Ongoing plans: sessions build on each other rather than starting from scratch each time.

Good For

Chronic pain, sports or work-related injuries, and anyone wanting a structured, ongoing treatment plan rather than a one-off session.

Deep Tissue Massage.

Firm, focused pressure for the muscle layers a light massage cannot reach.

What It Involves

Deep tissue massage uses slow strokes and sustained pressure to work through the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It targets adhesions and chronic tension, often through the neck, shoulders, lower back and legs, with pressure that builds gradually over the session. It is more intense than a relaxation massage, and communicating your comfort level as you go is part of getting it right.

Benefits

  • Breaks down adhesions: works into the deeper muscle layers where tight, fibrous "knots" build up.
  • Eases chronic tension: targets ongoing tightness through the neck, shoulders and lower back.
  • Improves range of motion: loosens tissue that is been restricting how a joint or muscle group moves.
  • Supports recovery: helpful alongside rehab from repetitive strain or overuse.
  • Pairs with remedial work: often combined with trigger point therapy or cupping in the same session.

Good For

People carrying tension from desk work or manual labour, athletes managing tight muscle groups, and anyone who has found a lighter massage does not quite reach the source of their pain.

Relaxation Massage.

Slower, lighter strokes to ease everyday stress and tension.

What It Involves

Relaxation massage uses broad, flowing strokes at a gentler pressure than remedial or deep tissue work. Rather than treating a specific injury, it is aimed at winding down: easing the everyday tension that builds up from work, stress or simply not having had a moment to slow down.

Benefits

  • Reduces everyday stress: a lower-pressure session to help you switch off.
  • Eases general muscle tension: without the intensity of deep tissue work.
  • Supports better sleep: a calming way to end a stressful week.
  • Good starting point: a gentle introduction if you have not had a massage before.

Good For

General wellbeing and stress relief, or anyone who would prefer a calmer, lower-pressure session over a firm one.

Pregnancy Massage.

Safe, supportive massage adapted for each stage of pregnancy.

What It Involves

Pregnancy massage adapts positioning and pressure to suit each stage of pregnancy, often side-lying with supportive cushioning, and avoids areas or techniques that are not appropriate during pregnancy. The focus is on easing the discomfort that comes with a changing body: lower back pain, hip tension and swelling in the legs and feet.

Benefits

  • Eases back and hip discomfort: addresses the tension that builds as posture shifts.
  • Helps with swelling: pairs well with lymphatic drainage for the legs and feet.
  • Supports better sleep: a calming session for a body that is working hard.
  • Adapted positioning: safe, comfortable setup at every stage of pregnancy.

Good For

Expecting mothers experiencing the aches and discomfort that come with pregnancy.

Please check with your GP, obstetrician or midwife before your first pregnancy massage, particularly in the first trimester.

Cupping.

Suction-based therapy that lifts fascia, eases tension and improves circulation.

What It Involves

Cupping uses silicone cups placed on the skin to create gentle suction, lifting the skin and fascia away from the tissue underneath, the opposite of the pressure used in massage. Cups may be left in place or moved slowly across the area. It can leave temporary circular marks that fade within a few days.

Benefits

  • Eases fascial tightness: the lifting action releases restrictions massage pressure cannot reach.
  • Improves circulation: increased blood flow can support muscle recovery.
  • Recovery aid: a common addition for athletes managing training load.
  • Complements deep tissue work: often used together in the same session.

Good For

Athletes managing muscle recovery, people with fascial tightness, and clients curious about trying something a little different.

Prefer to call? 0455 519 408

Lymphatic Drainage.

Gentle, rhythmic strokes that support the body's natural drainage system.

What It Involves

Lymphatic drainage uses very light, rhythmic pumping strokes that follow the direction of natural lymph flow. Rather than working into muscle tissue, it encourages fluid movement through the lymphatic system. The pressure used is much lighter than a typical massage, and the session as a whole is slower and more gentle.

Benefits

  • Reduces swelling: encourages movement of fluid that is pooled or built up in the tissue.
  • Supports recovery: a gentle option after surgery or injury, once cleared by your doctor.
  • Eases sinus congestion: light facial and neck work can help with pressure and stuffiness.
  • Complements pregnancy massage: often used alongside it for swelling in the legs and feet.
  • Calming session: the light pressure makes it a restorative, low-intensity treatment.

Good For

Clients recovering from surgery or injury, people managing swelling or fluid retention, and anyone wanting a gentle, restorative session rather than a firm one.

If you are recovering from surgery, please check with your doctor before booking a lymphatic drainage session.

Pain Management.

Hands-on treatment aimed at reducing chronic and recurring pain.

What It Involves

Pain management sessions combine remedial technique, trigger point therapy and stretching, focused on conditions that recur or linger, things like lower back pain, sciatica and repetitive strain injuries. It is often used alongside other health professionals as part of a broader treatment plan, rather than as a standalone fix.

Benefits

  • Targeted relief: focuses on the specific pain pattern you are dealing with.
  • Builds over time: ongoing sessions tend to compound, rather than resetting each visit.
  • Works with your team: fits alongside a GP, physiotherapist or chiropractor's treatment plan.
  • Fund-eligible: can often be billed under a health fund or WorkCover claim.

Good For

People managing a chronic condition, a work-related injury, or ongoing pain following an accident.

Trigger Point Therapy.

Direct pressure on the exact points causing your referred pain.

What It Involves

Trigger point therapy applies focused, sustained pressure to specific tight bands of muscle, trigger points, that refer pain to other parts of the body. A point in the shoulder, for example, can be the real cause of a recurring headache. Pressure is held for several seconds at a time until the muscle starts to release.

Benefits

  • Relieves referred pain: addresses pain that shows up somewhere other than its source.
  • Helps with headaches: neck and shoulder trigger points are a common headache cause.
  • Eases jaw tension: a targeted option for tightness through the jaw and temples.
  • Combines well: often layered into a remedial or deep tissue session.

Good For

Headaches, jaw tension, or pain that seems to travel to a different part of the body than where the problem actually is.

Prefer to call? 0455 519 408

Acupressure.

Targeted pressure on specific points of the body to relieve tension and restore movement.

What It Involves

Acupressure uses sustained, targeted pressure on specific points of the body, applied with the fingers, thumbs or palms. No needles are used. It is often combined with other massage techniques in the same session, and the pressure is adjusted to what feels comfortable for you.

Benefits

  • Eases tension: focused pressure on tight areas helps muscles let go.
  • Supports movement: releasing stiff areas can help restore comfortable range of motion.
  • Needle-free: a hands-on option for people who prefer to avoid needles.
  • Complements remedial work: often used alongside other techniques in the same session.

Good For

People with muscle tension, stiffness or restricted movement, and clients who prefer a gentle, needle-free, hands-on approach.
